June 2008
Showing his new “Signature Series” of trees (www.waynetrinklein.com), Wayne received first place in sculpture at the prestigious Arlington Heights, Illinois, Promenade of the Arts.
A new order form is published. Note that the distinction between “standard” and “premium” trees no longer exists. Over the past few years, we seem to have lost our ability to make a standard tree.
May 2008
We have moved to a new location with a new gallery and production studio in St Peters, Missouri just 10 minutes from our old place. More room, more trees, more birds and lakes. We would love to give you a tour. Check contact information for directions.
Wayne is getting married to Susan, the lovely girl who has frequently been trying to manage him for the past two years. She and Artistic Assistant, Keri, are frequently seen helping him at shows. See Pictures.

January 2007
This was a banner year with Wayne gathering Best of Show or recognition awards at 5 events. The display and promotion has been upgraded and new production personnel have been added. We have worked very hard to keep up with demand, and develop new sculptural dimensions.
Springtime and Romance
We are very excited to introduce a new line of trees at this time. These trees depict the color, excitement and romance of springtime. For the first time we have used colorful polymer resins to add florets and/or leaves to our traditionally fine sculptural trunk and branch detail. These trees are smaller and more dainty than our traditional tabletop line, but lack none of the exquisite attention to detail and naturalistic design. Early response indicates that these gems, mounted on semiprecious stones will warm the heart of your loved one. A parchment with poetic verse is provided with each tree. See these flowering trees on the Tree Pictures
page.

Decorative trees are a new addition to our line. These
trees are slightly smaller that our tabletop size, but are finely
detailed. They are mounted on a showy rock of green peridot
or green quartz. (You can specify the rock or we will choose
for you.) These trees are finished with a green patina at the
terminal branches to give an overall green coordinated color
to the sculpture. Although more showy and colorful than the
standard line, these trees still have a natural, believable
appearance of a living tree.
February 2005
Our business continues to grow, there has been no recession
for us. We are blessed with so many reorders that we have had
to curtail our shows. We have moved to
a new studio, bigger, brighter, better ventilated and
easy to get to. We are very happy for
your business, and love making trees.
For years, people have asked about weathering of the trees outdoors.
We have developed a chemical patina option
which quickly gets your tree to look like it has been in the
rain for a long time. Some even like it on indoor trees. It
looks particularly authentic on the conifers. We charge
an extra $10 per tree for the treatment if you specify it.
New trees available. Some "exotic"
trees are being more commonly requested.
- The spreading Banyan tree, with
multiple trunks, and adventitious roots.
- The Bald Cypress with its tall
fluted trunk and knee roots rising out of the water at the edge
of a shallow bay/swamp.
- The Weeping Willow with its
languidly drooping branches, sometimes at water's edge.
These trees can be made with a special request. Contact
us.
Premium trees are offered to the
most discriminating customers. Though we make all our trees
to be beautiful, we select out specimens which we judge outstanding
because of dramatic presentation, and esthetic appeal. These
trees are taken from standard production and finished with extra
care, and given a numbered embossed seal on the underside to
label them as our very finest.
